WOR TOWER DEMOLITION DELAYED

Also via Bob and NYDXA-List: (New York, New York - September 20, 2006) WOR Radio 710 HD announces a delay in the demolition of their three 700-foot tall radio towers.
Lyndhurst, New Jersey, Police Chief James B. O'Connor halted the demolition based on his security concerns surrounding 9-11 and being able to notify his community of the event in a timely manner.

A new demolition date will be announced shortly.
